It's That Time Of Year Again...

Well it's that time of year again! The Holiday season is just about over and it's time to get back into shape and shed those few extra pounds we picked up over the Holidays! No reason to wait for New Years Day to start our New Years Resolutions, and what better way to get into shape than by hopping on a bicycle, or your trainer, and start training for a portions ride or solidarity ride (coming to a city near you!) this April or May.

Ride for World Health 2011 is well underway, and we are finally established as a team of 17 National Riders with portions riders joining us for the trip as well. We have received wonderful sponsorship from both local and national organizations, such as The Ohio State University College of Medicine, PowerBar, :Roll bicycle shop, and United Dairy Farmers. We are excited that so many wonderful organizations have recognized the importance of and want to help support what we are doing!

If you are interested in joining on as a Portions Rider, would like to do a Solidarity Ride, or if you would like to donate to the 2011 Ride for World Health, please visit our website at: http://www.rideforworldhealth.org/

Ride for World Health 2011

Ride for World Health is is a national, nonprofit organization that started with a group of talented and inspired medical students at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2006. Since then, 4th year medical students have been riding their bicycles across the country, from San Diego, CA to Washington, D.C. to raise money and awareness for international health.

Ride for World Health (R4WH) advocates for improvements in the quality and accessibility of global healthcare, and addresses the issues that are prevalent in international health through political advocacy, fundraising and a Coast-to-Coast lecture series.

Ride for World Health, a journey across the Nation... to meet needs across the World.
